Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some frequently asked questions which may help with your purchase. If there is further information you need please do not hesitate to contact us on reception@wanakacommunityhub.org.nz.

Q: How much are tickets for the Wanaka House and Garden Tour?

A: Tickets to the two day event are priced at $90 per person

Q: Can I go to the house and gardens in any order over the two days?

A: When you register you will be given a ‘start’ house. You must start your tour on Saturday morning at the ‘start’ House you have been given to help reduce congestion at each venue. After that you can visit each property in the order you wish.

 

Q: How do I get my tickets and information about the houses and gardens and their addresses?

A: Tickets must be purchased online here on this site. Official ticketing, maps, addresses and information about the properties will be provided when you register. Registration will be open on Friday 13th November between 4-6pm and also on Saturday 14th November between 8.30-10am. Please remember you MUST provide a photo ID (passport, drivers licence etc) which MUST match the name on your ticket- you will then be given your wristband allowing you to enter the properties over the two days. Please note you will be unable to enter properties without this over both days..

 

Q: What times are the houses and gardens open each day?

A: The Tour starts on both Saturday and Sunday at 10am each day until 4pm. Last entry permitted to the properties will be 3.40pm each day.

 

Q: Can I wear shoes inside the houses?

A: No. All shoes are to be removed at the front door of each property. We recommend you wear shoes that you can easily slip on and off.

 

Q: Can I bring pets on the tour?

A: Pets are not permitted on the Wanaka House and Garden Tour

 

Q: Will there be bathrooms available to use?

A: The Wanaka Community Hub has bathrooms for you to use during the two days. Please note that you are not able to use the bathrooms at the Tour properties.

 

Q: Can I take photos on the Tour?

A: There is to be no photography taken at any of the properties on the Tour. This will be strictly enforced to ensure the security of all properties. Anyone seen taking photos will have their wristbands removed and will be stopped from seeing the rest of the tour.
